The First Age: Age of Aratar -5,000: First written history 0: The Awakening of the Forgotten Gods
- The single continent of Aedolyn was split into three, the Gates of Aedolyn were created, and the Forgotten Gods left the world.
- The nine demigods came into existence when the energy left behind when the Forgotten Gods departed merged with the energy of the mortal realm. The new Gods spread out across the realm and established the Nine Nations.
The Second Age: Age of the Nine 1: Establishment of the Nine Nations
- Reconstruction efforts begin
- Avandor declared the High Elf city of Illúvëa the capital of Nâvirfëll and crowed himself the High King of all Elves thus creating the Kingdom of Nâvirfëll.
- The Bavkür Alliance, Telgin Republic, Nívak Federation, and the Maelar Trade Union were formed by their respective Gods.
4: Durin united the states of Bäros, formed the Kingdom of Bäros, and proclaimed Triam as the capital. 15: Viscerra calls for an assembly of the many races of Galstrom and they finally come to an agreement, thus forming the Galstrom Alliance. 19: Efforts to unite the rivaling races of Angard are ruined when an assassination attempt is made on Halvak. He imposed harsh laws on the orc minority but is met with fierce opposition by the other eight nations and the all agreed to have a grand meeting in a few months time to come up with a solution. The meeting would be held in Gávalik. 20: The Golden Conclave is formed during the meeting of the nine great powers in Gávalik
- An ancient dispute is settled between the Dwarves and Orcs of Angard distributing one of the two major cities to each of the groups, Gávalik was proclaimed a dwarf city and capital of the Angard Empire; Kval’tar was proclaimed an orc city and recognized Gávalik as the capital of Angard.
- An eastern Aedolyn trade alliance was formed between the Bavkür Alliance, Angard Empire, and Galstrom Alliance. The Nívak Federation turned down the invitation due to an ancient rivalry with the Bavkür Alliance which was the assumed head of the organization.
- A similar organization was formed on the west coast along the Telgin Channel between the Nívak Federation, Telgin Republic, Mirodo Republic, and the Maelar Trade Union. These trade alliances are a major source of the massive development and prosperity that rightfully names this age the Golden Age.
37: A large group of Dark Elves leave the orc dominated city of Svaalgor Keep in search of the ruins of the ancient city of Morimaltë. After they discovered it they decided to build their city under the ruins of Morimaltë. 40: Reconstruction efforts are finally completed in Zal’Garish and the massive Desert Temple was erected in honor of the Desert Queen Sephria.
- Taldëon emerges as the cultural center of the Low Elves and Wood Elves challenging Illúvëa as the dominate city of Nâvirfëll.
50: After half a century of prosperity and peace the Golden Conclave is declared the ultimate ruling body of Aedolyn with equal representation of the Nine Nations.
Development and prosperity continue for hundreds of years.
879: Malkur embarks on the search for one of the five Gates of Aedolyn. 880: Malkur discovers the Sharrum Gate and summons the Golden Conclave for an emergency meeting in the dark city of Svaalgor Keep. The Conclave lifts the ancient law forbidding the opening of the Gates and permit Malkur to unlock the Gate in exchange for full distribution of its powers.
- The Sharrum Gate is opened and the Golden Age comes to an abrupt end when the prophesy of the Forgotten Gods is revealed.
- Malkur betrays and effectively dissolves the Golden Conclave.
The Third Age: The Alliance Wars 885: Malkur reveals the ‘gift of the gods’ by sending a small fleet and army to bombard the city of Zal’Garish. Magic is used for the first time in a war situation and its power overwhelms Sephria who calls for the aid of Telgin. Together they fight off the small Bavkür army suffering many casualties and exhausting many resources.
- The other eight nations begin the Hunt for the Gates in order to counterbalance the power of Bavkür.
- Malkur offers Sharrum magic to the Galstrom Alliance and the Angard Empire. Both nations accept and the first major non-global alliance is formed (Sharrum Alliance).
886: A revolt in the northern region of the Galstrom Desert breaks out and Viscerra quickly stomps it out effectively creating the Northern Plaguelands. 888: Sephria discovers and unlocks the Tolerian Gate and cements her alliance with Calill of the Telgin Republic. 900: Breakout of the first Elven Civil War marked by the Illúvëa Uprising and the crowning of Avandor as King of the Elves. Hundreds of wood and low elves flea Illúvëa and take refuge in Mirodo and Taldëon.
- Durin sends out thousands of hunting parties in a final massive attempt to sweep the Bäros Lowlands and Sakea Plains for any sign of a Gate. The Ravmin Gate is discovered and unlocked by Durin.
