Forgotten Gods The five forgotten Gods of Aedolyn were the creators of the great realm as well as the Gates of Aedolyn. The creation of the Gates resulted in the death of the Forgotten Gods as well as the creation of the Demigods. This is the extent of the knowledge known about the Forgotten Gods, they will forever remain the five mysterious and loving gods who sacrifices themselves to give their creation a second chance at prosperity. All we known about the individual gods are their names even though in many artworks they are portrayed as the five main races: man, elf, orc, dwarf, and goblin (the individual Gods are uncommonly associated with each race, meaning that the names of the Gods are not assigned to each race it just remains ambiguous). Demigods The nine Demigods (commonly referred to simply as Gods) were created from the residual energy of the Forgotten Gods and the energy of the mortal realm. They descended upon Aedolyn as mortals with the power of the Gods only significantly reduced. They spread out across the land and formed the nine nations. The Gods played a major role in the Unlocking of the Gates as well as the Gate Wars effectively tearing apart the once-great realm of Aedolyn. The only God still living today is Sephria, the Daring of the Nívak Federation.
